Inchy is an independent publication about ADHD. This page explains what data the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read rather than to be impenetrable.
What we collect
If you subscribe to the newsletter
We store the email address you enter, and the date you entered it. That is all the form asks for. We use it to send you the newsletter and nothing else. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes your address.
If you just read the site
We use Google Analytics to understand which articles people read and how they arrived. This tells us things like which pages are popular and roughly which country visitors are in. We do not use it to identify individual people, and we do not have a way to connect analytics data to your name.
We also use Google Search Console, which reports on how the site appears in search results. It does not collect anything about you personally.
Automatically, by the server
Like nearly every website, our host keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps. These are used for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies
The analytics described above set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell advertising.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your email address or any other data.
- We do not run advertising or advertising trackers.
- We do not ask for, want, or store any health information about you. Please do not send us any.
Who else is involved
Three companies necessarily process data as part of running this site: Hostinger hosts it and provides the email and newsletter tooling; Google provides Analytics and Search Console. Each has its own privacy policy governing what it does with data it handles.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or ask us to correct it, by emailing info@inchyapp.com. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, and we will honour those requests regardless of where you live.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and describe what changed.
